The T-Mobile app won’t work on your iPhone and you don’t know what to do. You’ve opened app, tried logging in, but something’s not working right. In this article, I’ll explain what to do when your T-Mobile app is not working on your iPhone!
Close The T-Mobile App
Closing and reopening the T-Mobile app can potentially fix a minor software glitch that would prevent the app from working properly. To close the T-Mobile app, you’ll first have to open up the app switcher.
To open the app switcher on an iPhone with Face ID, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to the center of the screen. Hold your finger in the center of the display for a moment until a preview of all the apps you have open appears. If you have an iPhone without Face ID, double-press the Home button to open up the app switcher. Then, swipe your apps up and off the top of the screen to close them.
Turn Your iPhone Off And Back On
If closing and reopening the app didn’t fix the problem, try restarting your iPhone. It’s possible that a different app or your iPhone’s software has crashed, which could be fixed by a restart.
If you have an iPhone with Face ID, press and hold the side button and either volume button until the power icon and slide to power off appear on the display. On iPhones without Face ID, press and hold the power button (also known as the Sleep / Wake button) instead of the side button and a volume button.
Swipe the red and white power icon from left to right to shut down your iPhone. Wait about 15 seconds, then press and hold the side button (iPhones with Face ID) or the power button (iPhones without Face ID) to turn your iPhone on again.
Update The T-Mobile App
If the T-Mobile app is out of date, it could be the reason why it’s not working on your iPhone. Go to the App Store and tap your Account Icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Scroll down until you find the list of available app updates. Tap Update new tot the T-Mobile app if an update is available.
Uninstall & Reinstall The T-Mobile App
If the T-Mobile app is not working after you’ve restarted your iPhone, there may be a deeper software problem with the app. The fastest way to troubleshoot a more significant software problem with the app is to delete and reinstall it.
Press and hold on T-Mobile app icon until the dropdown menu appears. Tap Remove App -> Delete App -> Delete to uninstall it.
To begin reinstalling the app, open the App Store and search for the T-Mobile app. Once you’ve found it, tap the download button to the right of the app — it’ll look like an arrow pointing down out of a cloud. A status circle will appear to let you know how much longer it’ll be before the app reinstalls.
