How To Show iPhone X, XS, XS Max, And XR Battery Percentage

The only way to show the battery percentage on an iPhone X, XS, XS Max, or XR is to open Control Center. To open Control Center, swipe down from the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Your iPhone’s battery percentage will be displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen!

Why Did Apple Change The Way To View Battery Percentage?

You used to be able to view an iPhone’s battery percentage directly on its Home Screen by turning on a switch in Settings -> Battery. However, since Apple introduced the notch, there simply isn’t space at the top of the Home screen to display battery percentage. That’s why Apple moved it to Control Center!

upgraded from iphone 4 yes iphone 4 to XS. OS is so old in iphone 4 (iOS 7.1.2, im unable to transfer all info/data from iphone 4 to XS. unable to get verizon transfer to work. any ideas?

Verizon’s transfer methods are pretty bad, to be honest. You’re better off trying to see if you can port your data over using iCloud if possible.

The easier way is swipe left from the home screen and add the battery widget to the top of the screen. Then you are only a wipe away from seeing your percentage.
